But u have to realise the creators arent going to make everyone happy. in GoW1 i hated the shotty with host advantage. it was terrible, one shot kill from miles away.
So people complained and they toned it down.
So now people are complaining about it being to weak. i personally think its shitty and i dont even use it.

the worst thing in GOW2 is the matchmaking

a slug is just that a slug you moroon it doesn't have pelets that spread out it's one single bullet. And yes buck shot would destroy someone from 40-50 yards away.. But it's not in perportion with gears one shotty.. also locust have scaly armory skin and the cogs are wearing what looks like to be very heavy duty armor. 40-50 years away wouldn't even chip their armor.
