when someone doesnt even need to look at you and kills you then thats when the gun is bullshit. i get that its super strong but its spread is retarded for any close range. you say keep your distance but there are shotguns for a reason.

i try to rush in this shit game get retro or sawed off down before i even get near them

I agree it's a piece of shit and ruined the game. They should make it a map weapon. But retro lancer > sawed off all day.

Its not overpowered, its just annoying. Especially because of the range and cshd

heres the thing. i dont mind dying from it but when any retard can kill someone and not be looking at them or my shotgun cant down them as they run away then it gets to be bullshit. but the shotgun was overused in gears 2 so...

i think the retro lancer was a good counter to the gears 2 shotgun fest.

Theres just no reason for it to be in the game except give new players the ability to get gibs which is stupid. When you play a team of all DBS users it just slows down gameplay to the point wheres its not even fun sometimes, thats my real problem with it. Id rather for it to never be put in the game, or atleast now reduce the gib range to that of the gnasher.



it was only overused after tu6, pre tu6 the Hb was probably the best starting weapon.
