The beta is amazing though. I probably played less than 10 hours on the first 2 gears combined and have already passed that in this beta. Dedicated servers are the SHIT. Connection is crisp as hell, it's amazing.
I suck ofc, getting better.
Pro at gears and lvl 31 in mlg halo 3 lmk. But srs I knew about the expertzone but didn't care enough to try and set it up. I can wait a couple days.

I haven't heard anything about the dedicated servers not being used right now, but if it's P2P then something crazy is going on since the gameplay is extremely smooth. I don't know of any time I haven't been able to kill someone or any individual has just run through an entire team like they could in Gears 1 or 2.
There still is a host with dedicated servers. I forgot why but w/e. If the host quits though the game doesn't pause for migration it does it in the background.
