i think what he wanted was people to use the cover system and just unload your gun on people, he didn't realize i guess no1 would do that and they would just start shotgun wars... or he sucked so much at gow1 he made gow2 easier to get kills...

or people were complaining that they couldn't get kills and the game was to hard or something lol, so he wanted to take the shotgun wars out, because maybe the majority of people didn't like it??

that's why i liked gow1 though, because it was different than any other game, like halo 3 you just shoot at each other and beat down if your close, cod you just shoot and they die in a couple bullets, but gow that was a way different experience... you had to have skill in gow1 its not like you could just get lucky like in some other games.

alot of kids didnt like gow1/dont like gow period because its such a skilled game, its not like halo and cod where u play it for a day or 2 and you actually become good, on gow it takes months to years to get good at

Heres a summary.

Rank 5 = Terrible. So dont take yourself highly cause you can beat rank 5's. Majority of them brought themselves through cheating.
Popshooting does work.
Wallbouncing isnt pointless, it actually takes skill to wallbounce compared to how everyone else does it.
RR no shot just makes bad kids wallbounce more and not run and shoot.
There ARE no decent battles in Gow2. There are too many bad kids, you only see the good ones in private matches / gb.
Who gives a shit if shotgun is more powerful close range, its still 1 shot in gow2.

Here are tips some points.
Be patience, then you wont run into nades unless your completely trapped.
Learn to stay a few feet away from 2piecers.
Learn to stay a few feet away from Chainsaw.
Look up when you see a morter, otherwise turn up your volume.
Learn to use buildings around you vs boomshot.
Learn to use ceilings vs hammer.

You complain about the features of weapons which are designed exactly for that purpose when its also in Gears of war 1.
How stupid,

Who cares if its just B buttons. Learn to dodge and kill.

I know how to actually play the game to how the creators actually designed it. You cry about nades, nades are designed for that purpose. If I knew there are grenades, I would never walk into a room blindly in real life.

I havent played lately, I can come back, ez you, leave, and you would complain more.

yah rank means absolutely nothing on that game, if u look at the top mlg players most of them arnt even rank 5... there ranking system is fucked up and some people rank up 100x faster then others =/..and like you said most of the rank 5's are lag switchers

ok now to counter all of you suggestions with one uniform comment

LAG

but to be honest:
mortars, i see exactly where they hit, i wait 1 second and run where they just hit and i blow to pieces
hammer- impossible to dodge when out in the open
chainsaw- vacuum attached to it
boomshot- same as mortar
2 piece- yeah backing up helps, yet they still will charge up and melee you, the more you dodge, the more of the enemies come, they you get chainsaw'd




as far as rank 5's: I've seen ones that are extemely good and could rape me easy, but the way the shitty ranking system was done you can see a rank 1 destroy a rank 5 in no time

dont cry about gow2, its what it is and gow1 is dead and theres nothing you can do about it, if you blow at gow2 stop bitching and dont play it..go play cod or something, then you wont have to cry

So why not do private matches and gamebattle? I think that eliminates majority of the lag.
Why would you be out in the open when theirs hammer. Lololol and you always have time to go under something.
If people charge for 2 piece. And you roll back, and they charge again. I wonder if that creates time for you to 1 shot him with a shotgun. You using a pistol?
You should learn how to dodge mortars and boomshot. It helps alot.

Lol Gears 1 will NEVER be dead, it will always rape Gears 2 online, even with the same online system, there are a lot less little faggot kids, a lot more skillful players, much less lag

how can you dodge a mortar after it has already hit and you were way away from it and decide to run through it a second after it hit and get blown to pieces?
