gl waiting on neutral, looks like you think coins are these magically unlimited supply of them that sells for 100-120fg/mil. sorry you either spend a shit load of time farming it, or you spend $$ and buy it. that shit doesn't come easy, not nearly as easy as FG where you can bot diablo2/play poker/sell service easily.

how neutral get it is none of my business, but him selling it at 100fg/mil is just plain stupidity unless he's some chinese mass bot farmer. even then he can easily sell it for $40 for 15mil.

I sell it at that price because
1) I quit PWI half a year ago, so the coin is just sitting there
2) I was a top 3 merchant on lost city, meaning I quit with a lot of in-game wealth
3) I have so much supply that up until 3 weeks ago, my supply far exceeded demand. Before Mystical bought 200 million coins from me, I could hardly enough buyers with enough FG to make a dent in my bank.

There is no such thing as "farming" for wealth in PWI. You either spend real $$$, gamble in Cube, or merchant. It was a good game until they released cash shop items that unbalanced the game. If you want to be competitive in PW you need at least 800million coins now. Totally ruined the game, and the company admitted it in a statement too.

exactly. supply does not meet demands at all, especially when demands for coins are so high in end game pvp/tw. so whoever thinks you can still buy coins for 100fg:1mil continously over time is simply delusional due what neutralman just mentioned: they are either bought with real money, gambled in cube, or spend 24/7 trying to work the market, farming is almost non-existent unless its a network of chinese gold farmers botting and pooling coins together. they get banned by the dozen too but they just keep going at it.

in summary, neutralman's coin price are exclusive because he already quit and thats what he priced them at. it's not a unlimited supply, so it would be wrong to base the standard price off limited goods that you will not be able to purchase from again.

Obviously the demand for IGG in PW is high... but that does not mean the demand for IGG is high on JSP. I don't care if its hard to get... there's just not enough people on these forums who are interested in this game and consequently this lowers the value of your IGG compared to FG. You might have a lot of gold that is extremely hard to get.. but if the game sucks... then your gold is completely worthless.

Gluck with your coins and your econ 101. But don't fool yourself.


Oh and fkJSP. Just because he quit does not make his gold "exclusive". He can overprice as high as he wants, but it is not worth anywhere NEAR what he's asking. about 1/2 of that actually.

if you play perfect world, you will buy this at merely 150ish fg per mil.

i emphasize again, fg is cheap, it can be obtained from d2 botting(free), poker(easy), and almost any service you offer can get you fg. PWI coins are hard to obtain and it is an absolute necessity because thats how the game was designed, of course if no one wants PWI coins it'd be worth nothing, you're pointing out the obvious.

PWI is probably one of the better F2P mmorpgs out there, and people who play will notice how important coins are; only high end players with mass connections and a lot of free time can access good amount of coins, intermediate and newbs will have a hard as fuck time trying to get it, and they will go for a quicker route like buying coins with fg. (do a search and see how expensive it is off those gold selling websites).

my conclusion: fg is cheap, and as long as the game is alive, people will spend to be competitive in the game.
