So the new patch hits and Tree of Protection not only raised the affinity price, it became nowhere near as worth keeping.
I am currently a lvl 63 barb using a lvl 35 genie with 8 affinities.
Can anyone recommend a build of skills that would be most handy for my genie?
I am racking my brain looking at skills and trying to decide new stat builds.
Lets try to use this thread for discussing genie builds that you find best for any specific class.
Alright here's my edit and my opinion with the time I've put in so far (this may change).
Skill 1:
Earthflame- This does still pull mobs from a group so this skill is still worthy of use to alot of us.
Skill 2:
Tree of Protection- Although taking a major loss in the HP given it still gives HP and that is good for a barb since we sometimes find clerics a little occupied with others or just lagging or w/e.
Skill 3:
Last Stand- Instant HP given. enough said.
This build I will be maxing Strength at this time for a lvl 35 genie (If I get enough lvls into him I may add enough Vit to use both skills 2 and 3 simultaneously).
I figure adding strength adds to max HP given on Tree of Protection, (hopefully increasing the HP given) I am unsure though if this skill heals by base max HP or max HP during use.
If it does go by max HP during skill use, then the adds to strength would be worth it, if not then I may rebuild my genie.
Reason 2 though is for skill Last Stand, every strength points adds 2% HP recovery.
So currently I'm thinking for a barb with a lvl 35+ genie will have the needed affinities for these skills and a strength build would be most beneficial.
Opinions on this?
