I decided to play Javazon this ladder season for the first time ever. Obviously, I had to go with Enigma, but holy hell the teleport is SLOW.

Currently I'm using a standard set up with 70 FCR and 55 IAS.

Then I started to consider trying to 99 FCR breakpoint for 1 extra frame reduction for teleport. Every guide I saw and every thread I read basically says the same thing. Use Arachnid's 20 FCR to help reach 99FCR. I think this is bad because Razortail is a HUGE chunk of your damage. Giving up Razortail is a HUGE issue and not something I am keen on doing.

Then I figured, I can give up Highlord's and use 2 10 FCR Rings and a 2/20 Amulet to achieve the 99 FCR breakpoint. 25 FCR from Griffons, 20 from Amulet, 20 from Rings, 35 from Spirit all totals 100 FCR. The cost of this is giving up 20 IAS and xx Deadly Strike on Highlords. This also gives up Raven Frost (but we don't need it for PvM that badly?). The IAS can be made up for later with Magic/Rare Javs (if I'm ever ablet afford it). I can also find 2x 10 FCR rings with mana leech on them since mana leech seems like a big issue.

Any thoughts? Am I missing something here? I would love to get some feedback from people who are actual pro Javazon players.

My whole dilemma is between Highlords and Razortail. I think Razortail is more important than Highlords.

Well Razor is huge dmg improver indeed, then maybe 2sk / 20 Fcr Amu + Razon insdead of HL + Arach is better. I didn’t thought that all at first place

e: but then you need some Rare Javelins with Ias i think, like 2 sk / 40 Ias + adds or 6/40 macig ones.

99 setups rely on having rare 40 ias javelins so you can replace gloves/amu without dropping from 55 ias.

finding a good pair of rare pvm javs (preferably with inc quantity) is easier said than done though

he wants to teleport fast. what do you think is more important highlord or razortail? I use tgod and peace on my java zon so im not any help here.

Definitely razortail. Highlords is just nice for the ias. But if you can hit 52ias elsewhere it doesn’t really add much and a rare fcr Amazon amulet will give you more damage ultimately.

100% this, only legit way to go over 68bp. Also, NEVER, EVER drop razortail on a java due to how insane the iteration with fury at 100% pierce is on the char. ONLY corner case scenario that I can see being the case is if you are ONLY doing rush seal popping, since you are just targetting 4x spawns.

Beyond my mind while u should build a java for diablo speed running rather then a soso, so keep your razortail.


My personal favorite set up past 68bp, it's the following at 105 fcr on java side:

At this point, IMO, the best way to go is to polarize her and go for 11bp tele, rather then 12bp as described above. So I like the following (TESTED, good and working):

6/40 javs
trang gloves
15fcr ammy
10fcr ring

enigma

jmoc 4x facelets
razortail

SWITCH: gul/spirit


You will tele on switch at 152fcr bp at the cost of the "standard" 95ias bp used on most 6/40 set ups, the absence of cta on switch (that gg vita javas don't rly need anyway but it's a nice QoL to have). Ofc is not cheap and IMO u shouldn't rly bother past 68bp unless u have insanely pushed gear.


Anyway, as Dolphy sad, gl finding a good pair of 40ias javs on ladder. The reality of any set up that is build around on 40ias javs for bp in pve, is that you NEED 2x of those to avoid repairs unless you can find a gg 4/40 with fast recharge and increased stack, but till you will have to repair quiet often.

That's why I don't suggest this kind of build around ever. I do own 2x 6/40 maiden in NL (1x MH 1x cube). Can you own 2x in ladder?
