I'm a FOH paladin and mainly clearing chaos and worldstone keep. And conviction doesn't really do much, considering I'm always soloing, and nobody benefits from the -resist all.

I have considered using Fanaticism, so my merc can clear monsters immune to holy bolt.

I know this has been asked a lot of times. Instead focus on the two areas I farm the most: What will be the best aura for these two areas?

why not vigor and fanaticism?

Redemption improves quality of life.
Vigor if no enigma.
Cleansing when cursed.
1pt HF if you want slow mobs
Fanat if you need Merc to kill/stay alive more

Dunno, lots of options, but most are just quality of life, not necessarily game changers.

Vigor is good. Didn't think of that one. I'm only going to max holy bolt and foh anyway, because I don't care about the foh damage alone. That leaves for maxing more auras.

I don't know if I should go Concentration or Fanaticism though. Is my Merc considered as my party, and thus get half the damage only?

Edit: and can might (from merc) stack with my fanaticism aura?

Why lightning res? And why not just Salvation?

more damage. if you have holyshock maxed for your foh already. not if you are going pure holybolt

I see. Yeah, I'm going pure holybolt. I only maxed foh for the synergy. If foh didn't give synergy to holy bolt, I would only put 1 in it, because foh spreads holy bolt very effectively.

Chaos only have demons and undeads. Worldstone keep has mostly demons and undeads (with some exceptions). So the lightning damage from foh don't matter too much for me.

Try the hybrid foh/hammer
Max foh / holybolt / hammer / vigor / one point concentration /last point go into blessed aim

With a nice gear you got around 8k hammer, max foh for density.
You can farm so fast anywhere in the game.

Put one point into smite and fanaticism and with some swap gear you can do Uber too.
