Honestly first time building a bowazon need help with what gear to use I've done some research but nothing conclusive to me yet so just trying to get some other options

Tbh bowazon is p1 farmer, max p4 i think, to keep it effective.

Iirc posted that back in days first time and with shadow/diamond Faith15 Max / 15 Ias jewels are better than 40Ed / 15 Ias

Str for EQ and rest goes to Dex, use either Harmony on switch or CTA + Lidless

For skill personally i would go for Multishot over Strafe

Iirc also posted some video about Frostmaiden. In these days when Sunder charm rocks many elemental char world Ice and Fire skills could work better at Bowazon

Yep. This is in old d2, sunder would help if you have some -enemy cold res.



I use an hybrid build physical/cold. You NEED to leech mana, freezing arrow needs loads of mana. To be able to leech enough you need physical damage, that's why i choose faith over ice runeword. Also, bowa is not a fast runner for players 8.

A correctly geared bowa can P8 easily cs in less than 4min.
3minutes 30 if you switch harmony for titans before diablo but, its not really bowa then ^^

P8 cow are doable too.

A correctly built bowa can do p8, but only with strafe+atma, and a little bit of patience until the amplify damage curse triggers. Then you deal enough damage to kill things rather efficiently. But survivability is also a problem, sc is possible, but hc is more difficult. Resists is always a problem. So using kira's guardian is a good option. The merc will also take a good beating from monsters' increased damage, so he must have high quality gear, which should not include eth reaper's which will override amp dmg curse.

Frostmaiden should be used with grand matron bow, so that you deal better physical damage. You can probably use sunder charms, but you will deal low damage. Using freezing arrow constantly is so mana draining that you will run out sooner or later, even with 300-400 mana. Only way to circumvent it is to use prayer+insight merc which will boost mana regen adequately unless you fire constantly for 20+ seconds. So switching rarely and fire a few strafe rounds, to refill mana, is almost a necessity. I personally use prayer+insight because i play hc, the hp regen is nice to have and you have enough mana 90% of the time. It easens the flow of gameplay.

Helm: Andy's+RAL
Amu: Highlords
Gloves: LoH/Lava
Armor: Forti
Belt: Razor
Boots: WT for add Base Dmg that gains ed / Gore's for DS
Rings: Raven + Dual Leech
Charms: Max/Ar
Weapon: Faith Matriarchal is the Way to get 7 Frames. you also get more ed from active Aura than passive

Merc: Act2 Might + Pride

At least I would go for Multi for the AoE Dmg and it's quite more mobile than Strafe.
When the Dmg isn't enough you can swap Highlords with Atmas for AD. But for the 44 IAS you have to sock a 15ias jewel (better 15/40) to get the BP
