Haven’t tested but foh with shard/tarn/+skill ammy and shield running salvation could be cheap, safe, and strong enough. Haven’t seen any reviews for classic foh though, not sure if it can compare to hammers or is worth the respec

Just make sure you have max fire resi.... rest wont touch you - it will all be dead on p1 long before it damages you.
At least it wil not hurt you more than redemption will heal...!

One thing.... maggots in river!
You need to use vigor and charge + shift to move past river of flame...
You must quickly move past the maggots, even by directionally charging them to push them out of the way etc.
Once they spawn mini maggots your path is blocked and you must create a ng :)

All the rest is super fun and easy.

I ran with these skills;
20 foh
20 holy bolt
20 redemption

And then i used salvation on swich for killing diablo to max my lightning resi...


Bonus option
I also made a hydra mf sorc without dia quest.
Once i had cleared cs with pala i exited and joined with her to quest-kill dia with high mf!

The hydra sorc carried 500 mf and could still take down dia fast with ok safe distance....
This helped finding sojs - and, it helped finding failed unique => tri dura weapons that sells for a ton of fg.... or even be used ofcourse ;).

To be fair, the 500 was with gull and I used shard to get 50fcr for medium tele-breakpoint... and I often did not get around to changing to gull manually.... so perhaps 400 mf i more realistic....
Still highly effective thou!!

FoH pala can kill diablo spamming holy bolts.
Even without fcr its quite fast.
The hydra was faster thou.
