Wanted to dit down and figure out the best pvm telebowa setup in 2.6. In particular, I wanted to see whether a 8fpa MS WF + pride + hustle setup can beat the 7fpa setups. Yes, I know 8fpa sounds like sacrilege to some, but I'm willing to go there if it does more.
Assumptions:1) Will be using Atma's scarab, amp is necessary for high player count games
2) Using razortail, this helps effective dps as well as procing amp
3) using hustle prebuff on swap
4) this is TELE bowa setup, so using engima, not forti. I realize you can get some stupid expensive circlet with tele charges but let's be somewhat realistic. Obviously if you decide to wear forti, this will favor WF even more due to higher base dmg
As a major sidenote, there's something pretty weird going on with the tooltip for multiple shot. It's supposed to start off with 75% base weapon damage, and have a synergy with GA for 12% off-weapon ed per level (so 240% @ lvl 20). However, the tooltip is showing 315% weapon dmg, as if adding 240+75 lmao. Furthermore maxroll seems to be applying the 75% base dmg reduction, but NOT applying the 240% off weapon ed to the calculations. So keep that in mind, when the numbers are close betwee the different setups, WF will benefit a lot more from the 240% multiplier. OR this could actually be a bug, and the game isn't applying the synergy ed at all. If anyone has more info on this, I'd appreciate it.
#1 WF + A2 might + pride (8fpa @ 72ias bp)https://maxroll.gg/d2/d2planner/pd0106ukMS: 21,318 dps
GA: 39,559 dps
#2 WF + A1 faith (7fpa @ 42ias bp)https://maxroll.gg/d2/d2planner/wh0106q6MS: 17,948 dps
GA: 35,805 dps
#3 Self Faith GMB + A2 might + pride (7fpa @ 42ias bp)https://maxroll.gg/d2/d2planner/pl0106pcMS: 21,500 dps
GA: 34,388 dps
CommentaryWF setup #1 comes out on top if you can stomach 8fpa. Technically it does slightly less on MS than #3 according to maxroll, but I'm pretty confident once the 240% ed is applied, it will easily surpass it. It's also significantly cheaper - a WF is like 20fg.
One other issue is that setups #2 overshoots the 7ias bp by quite a bit. The obvious solution is to use ed/min/max jewels in the circlet instead of ias/ed, but this may bug the helm (not totally clear on this either, have seen some experiments where it's claimed this bug doesn't apply to ranged attacks). Not sure how to handle this but there may be a more efficient setup.
Any suggestions for improvements greatly appreciated!
