Any idea why Maxroll has you max out Howl instead of BO?

Sorry if this is a dumb noob question; just trying to understand their logic

Do you have a link to the guide you are referring to?
Maybe the person that made the guide did not have an order in mind for leveling and just put in what to max.

Only reason why I would see them suggesting that is for the radius gained to prevent monsters gathering around you in large packs while you berserk.

was the guide made before BO was a synergy of berserk?

idk, i'd max BO 1st.

As I figured, its for the howl radius honestly.
Keeps minions from flooding you while you focus on the superior / unique monsters.
Remember that while you are using berserk, your defense will be dropped.

Looks like he built on dual fcr weapons (for buffing / casting) while carrying a fcr ring / amulet depending on the budget in many cases.
