Is a -79 light sunder charm enough reason to not play blizz and go for a lightning sorc early ladder?

or is the light sunder charm really not enough reason to jump to lightning

Lightning sorc is much more expensive than cold sorc
Sunder is not enough of a reason to switch

But once you get eschuta you could consider swich

I tried to switch to lightning even with eschutas but it felt too weak still compared to blizz with same low end gear, I ended up switching back
