does bezerker axe give more range for smite?

having to use fanta instead of concentration would the dmg from ba make it about the same dmg anyway?

The damage is comparable

For pvp you want setups for both PB + BA

For pvm I would never use a BA

it gives more range. it's way harder to beat a ba smiter than a pb smiter for a ww barb.
