it is my understanding that the best possible base for the death for a charge pally would be a superior ethereal berserker axe with 5os, but thats like finding a unicorn. i have a death built in a eth ettin axe but the max dmg roll sucked. should i just try to reroll death in this eth ettin axe or should i try and track down at least an eth serker axe. i dont understand the difference. the ettin axe appears to have a higher average damage and lower requiremnts than the serker axe. why does everyone lean towards the serker axe. if does it get better buufs from being eth and or sup?

a charge paladin isn't concerned with attack speed, so you'll want a slow as base with high avg dmg and high range. and unless you're also smiting you should probably go for a two hand base. if you're one-handing you should just use grief ba

the best 2h death would be glorious axe, but that's rare af. decapitator also works.


e: generally people don't like ettin axe due to having a lower range and attack speed than a ba. in your case the attack speed doesn't matter, but there's no reason for you to use a one hand weapon if all you're doing is charging around
