Want to make a summon Druid for pvp.

I know I can’t sit in town anymore.

Anyone tried stacking thorns with this?
Thought about using some fire skills too maybe tele stomp if no bramble.
Any links or tips on stuff would help!

Shockwave is strong in d2r, unless it got patched.
Grizzly can be strong too. Grizzly gets pretty decent attackspeed if fana, many breakpoints to be gained there. Sometimes those breakpoints are ruined by grizzly AI, but many times it slam strikes after strikes.
Fireskills are also better now, with less delays.

So basicly its nice to use bear + something else. A hybrid or trihybrid.

Then ur left with:
Shockwave + Grizzly
Shaman

Shockwave + grizzly is pretty much a 99fcr build spamming 7k dmg shockwaves while bear strikes. Shockwaves stun, but now also got great dmg.

Shaman is more about a decent armageddon on you now dealing some considerable physical damage and some small fire dmg. Volcano to trigger fbr stun or if high dmg vs enemy fhr stun and to tap down enemy life. Fissure is used as well, and moulten boulder can be used for trolls, although it can be used to northspam hammers and other people jumping you to kb them.
Firestorm deal a few dmg as well, can be used situation based.
The idea is to use ur arsenal of fire skills in combi with bear jumps.

Both are fun to play, not extreamly strong but works.
Hoto or Beast are great wepons for both.
Thorns is bm cause its on merc, and you need to wear enigma urself. Ofc u could use edge, but the loss of 2 slots are to heavy toll on ur stats. For sure, add a edge/bramble act 1 merc, or a eth reapers or pride/bramble act2 might merc for bm duels if u want.

U always want to use HoW over Oak. The ar bonuses are inzane from both fana and HoW, and the dmg bonuses are nice. Meanwhile the % life from Oak has not very much affect as summon grizzly skill already have a lot of %life in its own form.

Having swap gear in your stash is a good idea from experience. If you keep the extra ele skillers to finish the set, a 30/30 crystal sword, 20/20 monarch and facet ravenlore, you can transform a shaman into a fire druid with ~6700 fissure with -75% resist and ~8k geddon / ~1900 fire (+750 physical) volcano and switch to oak as needed. This is helpful for some matchups where you don't use bear as much
also its critical to note just how fast grizzly hits off a telestomp, because it starts its attack while you're still in a teleport animation unlike self-used attacks/spells. The result is that grizzly will hit on the 7th frame after you arrive at your target, while a 99% fcr druid has a 4 frame backswing and 7 frame foreswing before their next cast (11 total)
to illustrate that;

taking advantage of that speed is critical

Shockwave + grizzly build:
Its worth to mention that stun has been changed since this. But you now have 7k dmg at least on shockwave.

Chose one u think is nice, and i can help you decide upon item setups :)
