Wanted to respec my infinity nova sorc soon to fire since I got bored.

Most guides and guys I met suggest echutas or hoto as weapon.
But I guess a 6 facette crystal sword would be best for the -30 enemy res. Should give you more dmg compareed to the + skills from hoto or echuta (echuta still has one facette in).

With a Viper, Magefist , arach , at least 15fcr amu and 2x 10fcr Rings you still can achieve 105 fcr. So you loose 3-5 + skills for 25 (vs echuta) or 30 (vs hoto) less enemy fire res. 3-5 because you could run 2x Soj or bk with echuta/hoto.

So I guess 6facette Crystal Sword > echuta > hoto when it comes to dmg, especially vs sundered enemy’s wich will take the longest to kill.

What do you guys think ? Budget thing or why do all fire specs I see use echuta/hoto ?!

6facet sword definitely performs much better. I have all 3 setups and its night and day better with the facet sword on p8. I personally use a 5x facet runemaster for the CBF mod and just for something different (always wanted to find a good use for runemaster haha).

You can get 105fcr breakpoint with fcr ammy and rings, but it's pretty effective at the 63fcr breakpoints as well. Viper, arach, magefist is enough. Then you can run sojs/mara/flickering/phoenix.

Use a 35fcr spirit on CTA switch for the 105fcr breakpoint for quicker tele if you want.
