what is the formula to reroll a blue monarch to try for Jmod?

rerolling magic items: item + 3 perfect gems in cube
colour of gems does not matter (can be different colours or skulls as well), char level does not matter as well

The formula is that you will never roll it. You can google the exact numbers but it was something like 300.000 perf gems needed AVERAGE. That means that you can probably use 500.000 and not get it.

Roll Baal/Nith/Diablo grand charms and not monarchs. Monarchs have such a low chance of rolling anything remotely useful.

The absolute optimal ilvl Monarch is 77 and for that ilvl it’s a 1 in 14,220 chance of rolling a JMoD.

You could of course get lucky, but it’s slim odds.

Hint: try to use a iLvl = 77-78 Monarch since the chances are higher for a JMoD (enough for jmod but less possibilitys to spwan on a higher item lvl)
Odds of rolling selected mods: 1/1094 (0.09%)

possible areas to look for (regular monsters) are (hell ofc):
A1 - Cave lvl 1 + 2
A1 - Tower lvl 3-4
A2 - Lost City + Snakes
A2 - Harem lvl 2
A2 - Palace Cellar 1-3

I mean, I don't disagree, but the odds are a lot better than that
