Just want to make sure i understand something here because it may shift the way I gamble circlets.

for helms to roll 20 fcr, an affix level of 29 is needed. Max roll says you need a minimum ilvl of 26 for it to spawn. I'm assuming this means that if i were to gamble a circlet on the lowest level possible(level 19 i think it is, because circlets have a quality level of 24) that it wouldn't have sufficient ilvl to spawn fcr even with the +3 magic level that circlets gain. Or am i wrong, and u can spawn 20 fcr on any circlet you gamble regardless of character level?

just gamble at (edit 42?) 45, getting +2 skill tree is nice as well.

don't need skills, so this needs to be lowest level possible(Like 21 is best, but 31 req highest)

Been gambling on a level 31 since it gaurantees the fcr at 20. I've assumed that this is correct.

Qlvl only determines if it can turn up when gambling. Yes, it will always be ilvl 24 or greater I think.

Not relevant here though, you need ilvl 26 as you worked out, so clvl 31 to always have a chance

I thought if Ilvl was lower than Qlevel it took the quality level as the ilvl?

I think i can imbue at a lower level (level 22, since it gives +4 ilvl and it requires 26 to spawn mods) and have a better chance of getting what i am after but either way its a longshot. Just want to increase my mods where possible

This is the formula:

The bold part is the part circles are going to use since they have magic_lvl 3 as you mention, since they need alvl 29 to get 20fcr you want ilvl26 to get that alvl29.

Since they also have qlvl 24, and it's not enough to get the ilvl26 you need, you will need to manipule their ilvl, so you were right, not every gambled circles are able to get 20fcr.

If you want to gamble circles for maximum chances to get 20fcr, try clvl31, worst case scenario the gambled circle will have ilvl26, barely enough to get alvl29 and roll 20fcr.

quick edit: at lvl21 you have 0 chances to get it, gambled items have -5+4 your level, so you need to be at least lvl22 to have a chance, or like you said imbue with a lvl22 char that also give +4.

You can imbue at 22 to guarantee exactly the ilvl you want. However, thats a single shot. Gambling at 31, yes bigger range of affixes, but always possible to get 20 fcr. And you can do that an infinite number of times.
