Prob a dumb question but why do bo barbs use 1 bo stick and 1 cta?

I heard cta can only give max +3 to bo for a barb. Does the +1 to all skills let you get +4? And also was told barbs sometimes use hoto in 1 hand. Thanks in advance!

Yes, cta can give max 3 bo and 1 all skill (+4 total) and only one cta will work this way. So you can have max +7 bo from weapon slots
