Offline solo- Made it to hell HC with an Amazon as a Frost / Explosion build. Currently level 74 in A1. Gear is very suboptimal so I made a sorc and currently farming NM Meph. No titans yet, but did find a buriza and a couple moser shields.

Anyway,

With HC in mind, would you do:
A) Strafe / Froze Arrow
B ) Strafe / CS Switch (if I can get titans)
C) CS / Poison Jav
D) Other

I’m taking is slow, trying to be safe. I have one respec left unfortunately so whatever I do, I’m stuck with it until I can farm a token. It will need to be able to beat hell
Ancients if I get that far / find decent gear.

Console so no cheats and no sunders.

Farm the countess and make a harmony. Laying of hand also helps farming pits. If you manage to cube pul+lum and p emerald, you could up wwstring or a godstrike arch. Goldstrike arch is hell viable when upped.

Upped Lycanders Aim GMB is also descent as it adds 25-50 damage on top of ed. Of its 30 ias behind goldstrike but still gets 40 ias with a shael

There is no ar bonus, damage to demons or undeads. Those 40ias are hard to get. He can just put on laying of hands and a shael in goldstrike arch to reach 89ias bp. Huge difference if you play solo self found. But lycanders is an option if he can find one first. In my books, goldstrike, harmony and then WWS are the bows to go when SSF.

Yes, Harmony is guaranteed, so definitely worth it. First in a blade bow for speed, then +3 Matriarchal. GMB is too slow.

WWS is easily viable, up it. It’s much better than it looks at first sight. I took a strafezon through to Guardian on p8 self found with this.

Also, Riphook is your friend for bosses. Riphook + Blacktthorn + some cold damage slow bosses to treacle. Use Some CB and guided and be patient. Even Dclone falls to this set up.

I found a WWS, howltusk and shaft today on my quest to find a set of titans so I’m getting closer to moving the zon into hell. I run WWS on my NL zon. It’s a fun little bow. Much different twinked online SC vs offline HC though. Shit gives me anxiety lol

Shael & nef. For those holes, upgrade when possible /practical.

KB is a must in HC

I wouldn't agree on kb being necessary. 1) It pushes enemies back, making you having to chase them. This means you may attract other more dangerous mobs, making progress impossible. 2) It can cause some kind of weird bug/lag that cuases monsters to displace, sometimes being right on top of you. 3) It doesn't work most of the time, creating a false sense of security.

The merc and valkyrie should be the tank. And one shouldn't advance to hell, before nightmare is like cutting through butter and one has at least +50% all resist.

You can make progress in hell with any of the exceptional unique bows, and harmony, but it will be slow and not enjoyable. Bowa really is a class you need good gear in order to make safe and steady progress, even from early hell mode. The exception is if all your other gear slots are optimal, i.e. fortitude, atma's scarab, kira's guardian etc.

tbh if you have a buriza, and dont have titans, just go multi guided. that will melt everything.

if you get titans just go pure java.

Upped wws + atma scarab & synergized strafe is more than you need.
That was the build I used to level my selffound hc bowa. Significant res bonus from this bow will be also a blessing.

Stack all these max dmg charms you can have in your bag. This will add a big punch to your bow dmg. IAS for strafer is mostly irrelevant unless you fight the boss, and need the Guided Arrow to consitently proc the curse due to early AR issues you may have.
