Just wanted to try the singer barb ran an enigma 2 hoto war travs frost burns 2 soj arach and a shako with 2 Ali babas on off hand to hork. It was pretty fun except the mana cost and no way to mana leach made the class kinda trash. Is there a way to run this class and not suck on mana.

Had a crafted Ammy with mana 2 skills and fcr.
Had an insight merc.
Tried silkweaves
Ran sojs and frost burns for the mana.

well.. less hard points into warcry = lower mana cost

that's really only thing I can think of, also using two wizard spikes


I can't really remember... stopped trying to figure out singers since fhr got nuked ;/

maybe replace 2x hoto with 2x spirit? SoJ/frostburn/BO already give a huge bonus to %max mana, but you still need a mana pool to begin with

Your % mana seems high enough. you need more base mana. either put points into energy or add charms to your inv for more mana.

I considered that too except I already have 900
Mana and it just isn’t enough. The main problem is the high cost of the skill in mana and that there’s no way to recover by leach

I ran mana/mf scs in inventory instead of wc gcs.
Min/max wc damage makes very little difference if mfing on p1. Stone skin champs will be slow regardless, since Merc has no amp or decrep

I had something like 890 mana after BO and I could clear nothings like groups of cows and stuff but the mana was still just always an issue. My thoughts were the more warcry GCs I had the faster enemies die and less mana was needed but that didn’t work because the attack just takes more mana to use.. I tried mana charms but now less damage more attacks needed. Same issue.
It just seems like it would be a real fun class if I could solve this mana issue but all the different load outs I’ve tried boil down to mana being a problem. Seems to me like it’s just not worth it.

I ran into that as well stone skins are brutal because an insight is necessary. I tried an act 5 merc with a fort and lawbringer with a grief which helped against phy res and stone skin but now mana is even harder to maintain. Again it all boiled down to mana being an issue

well thanks for the tips guys I’ve been battling with this quite a bit because I want it to be good. I’ve tried some of the suggestions you guys through at me and it seems to all lead back to mana. To high of a cost and no leach makes it not practical. Sucks.. so much potential for a sweet horker build had 300+ MF on Ali baba swap. I’ve decided to let it die and just respected back to melee barb. RIP singer barb.
