1 HoJ vs 2 HoJ

where did all the bonuses from 1 HoJ go??






So it seems all stats on weapon to the left is ignored i guess (except -% enemy fire res). In photo Plague vs HoJ

maybe right slot is programmed to be the main weapon and boni are only listed for main?
or the first slot you equip him might be the main, you gave right the left weapon (making right slot the main hand), then remove right i.e. main weapon?

does the bug also occur when you remove only the left weapon?

Yes the bug happens no matter which hand the HoJ is in. Tried un-equipping it from left or right, dosnt matter, only thing that applies when equipping 1 hoj is the -20% enemy fire res as shown in pic. Very wierd and sad lol

clearly theres something to do with the right/left hand, it seems to completly ignore the weapon stats on the weapon to the left, se photo of Sazabis + Hoj vs Hoj + Sazabis

I had no idea you loose/ignore all the stats on the weapon to the left..

Are you sure this isn’t just the standard dual wield mechanics?

Lots of effects do not get used if they’re on the off hand weapon.

The character screen has never been a good source of information.

Hoj is really bad in merc. No synergies means no damage.

Well, yes and no i would say. I understand that fire dmg would not be as good as a fire pally but its not too shabby, im using it (for fun) on my fire auradin using conviction so all enemies have -100% fire res (also merc gets -40% enemy fire res). Plus the HoJ has 20% deadly strike (altough not 40% DS as i had hoped seing how only 1 sword gives bonuses (according to advanced stats). It blinds and it freezes, plus got some life steal.

plague is way better and cheaper^^

blizzard employees even called the d2 character screen the "LCS" for "lying character screen"

Not sure how to interpret this.. Stats lie and he actually gets all bonuses from both HoJs?

Wish i could upload a short video showing merc destroying terror zones solo really fast with double hoj lol (with me not using dragon/hoj, just using conviction aura)
