I have explored different set ups.
The major difference between a bear and werewolf is the lack of attack rating;
its super low for a bear. I heard that 15k is the minimum i should have (?).
My soft skills atm at lvl 88:
HoW 20
werebear 20
Maul 20
Lycan 20 but i will restat to max fireclaw first for more Ar.
Oh, and i also put 1 pt in Bear. I might go without it.
(last taught edit: 1 pt in hunger for mana leach?)

Now i dont rely on tons of Ar or SS gc's, but if you did, id like to hear how much of a boost you got from those compared to gear. (and if Ar gcs gives much more than SS ones.).

Boosting Ar items i taught of are:
-angelics, 1 or 2 rings
-Cerebus: 60-120 bonus
-heart of wolverine...But reliying on it for ubers is..well risky. Will i have time to recast it?
-blessed aim merc...Probably even less reliable than HoW.

Overall gear i'm thinking of:
ribcracker shael'd --> 8 fpa or tombreaver+guillaume (one of my biggest concern with that set up is the lack of Ar from the pelt).
treachery buff/coh
cerebus with ? in it.
2 angelics + amulet/raven/mana leach ring.
gore rider
dracs...or maybe LoH with life tap wand (lvl 6 is 28 sec ). Id really like to use dracs. (and the ias wont help me; id need 50 ias to reach the next break point with ribby).
belt ? (check CBF mod)
CBF mod: Now this is an interesting one. I need the cbf mod somewhere. And yet , i have no mana leech (is it mandatory?).
trangs belt: cbf mod
cham in the pelt.
mana leach belt...Omg they are so ugly: mavinas/wilhelms/gloomtrap...Or string if i decide to go with no mana leach + cham in the helm.
Prebuffs: demon limb, fleshrender/cta/spirit, treachery.

This is going to be hard. Have this in mind.
To get attack rating you can go with angelic ring + amulet, or hsarus boots and belt. Boost it with enchant from demon limb.
Remember that you need 300@res for mephisto, you may need to precast fade from treachery.
For my wolf, the worst one is baal, by far. Why? Because he blocks a lot and spawns those damn ghosts that steal your mana and physical inmune. They are an absolute pain in the ass. I ended up using Azurewrath to deal with them.

The numerous times i did ubers with a wolf, i always had a mana leech ring.
Having a good start vs ubers is important imo. If too many baal minions, that could be a pain.
Its been a while since i did them.
I always had 20 soft points in feral rage +skills for that purpose.

As for my bear, i tried only 2 times recently. (many years ago i think i had a success with azurwrath and rattlecage lol; but i woulnt recommand it ).
The first time i needed help for Duriel ...I was surrounded with pi's, and for w/e reason, i couldnt finish him). Maybe its because my coh was broken (check the dura when you make that for ubers lol...diamond mail might not be enough dura ).
The 2nd time i almost got Meph down quickly, but i didnt want to rebuff everything so i called for help again.

edit: btw, i used a NON-eth , 3 shael'd tombreaver, wich with 50 off weap ias reaches 5 fpa in normal play. (noscoil, highlords, Loh).
However, vs ubers, i was using angelics, so i was at 6 foa.
...I also had a full inventory of above average Ar, max/ar charms.

Next time, im gonna try with a ribcraker.
Overall, i think i was to obsessed to reach a fast attack speed as for ubers it maybe is more efficient to loose 1 or even 2 fpa to have more CB.
