Do I understand correctly that the last update did not change anything? And the griffon still doesn't work with traps?

It does not.

Sins use griffons for the 25fcr. Which is the only way to reach 102 FCR while using 2x claws. Without griffons, you can’t hit 102 FCR with 2x claws

Sunder does work, but monsters still have 95% light res so you're not going to be doing much without infinity still.
