So with sunders out, how viable even is the light/fire sorcs?
I was lookin and even with Pheonix, Pheonix, Flickering, and a faceted armor you'd get at most -76% enemy fire res. After the break to 95, fire immunes would still have 19 fire res.

What I'm askin is, does the extra fire damage end up being enough to compensate for not dropping the enemy res down to even half of what cold sorcs can?

blizz sorc is always better if thats your question since it can do its dmg without infinity. but once you get infinity and really solid endgame gear (-res sources) then its certainly viable for farming. not better than blizz tho

Ahh true I forgot about infinity. Still tho blizz seems to be best option

any sorcs can work with sunder

lightning/chain lightning is still top tier

blizz is best for budget
