I've been playing diablo since 01 but I have yet to beat classic without any jsp or in game help

I'm playing a barb and I'm lvl 30 and up against diablo in normal. my barb is a double swing barb.

after I get into NM what build should I use when I respec him, I'm thinking frenzy or ww but open to hear options.

the main goal is to beat diablo in hell without any in game help or jsp items.

Well I beat diablo in normal and I'm in act 1 NM with the respec quest finished, still lvl 30.

what is the best budget build for a barb trying to play though the game

I'm assuming it frenzy barb? but I think i remember a lot of 2 handed weapon WW barbs around back in the day.

just watch some speedrun videos and see what weapons they use i guess

think thats best , as they do strats without relying too much on rng

Angelic armor, amulet, rings
Sigon gloves, belt, boots.
Eventually you'll want some leech but the above is budget meta.

Ok well the items I use are going to be what I find along the way. But I'll watch for the ones listed so I can make some partial sets as said above.

What about build. Like where should I put the skill points.

For stats I plan to use enough str for items, dex as needed for AR and the rest into life.

Stats are what yoy listed. With angelic set, you could go 0 in dex.

Skills, max ww, mastery, BO, item find if you're pvm.
Be mindful that you only have 3 respec in classic only. No tokens.

And I'm worried about the 3 respects. I've already used 1 and I don't want to get stuck at a point where I can't go any farther without respecing my char so I want to make sure I pick the correct skills now.
