Hey what the best merc an es nova sorc using scythe infinity ? i was thinking about Act 5 with plague to counteract poison damage and curse from act 5 (i don't remember the name). What do you think ?

I thought about the cleansing aura being helpful aswell, but I dont think it will be more useful then the amount of mana you get from insight.

the reason this build is so tanky is the insane mana regen paired with high mana pool with max es. most mobs dont have the dps to burn through the mana regen, but if you take away most of the mana regen you will become way less tanky.

just my 2cents but been playing es nova sorc for 2 seasons now. I try to stack atleast 50% plr from boots/amu or rings and usually will keep a slot of antidote pots on me.

as far as the curse, this only happens to characters with more mana than health.. not a lot you can do to counter it other then static and be smart about your nova, but only two mobs in the game can cast that curse.. baal and harpies.

edit: forgot to add you'd be sacrificing prayer on act2 merc which is huge to countering poison as a nova es sorc.

yeah u're absolutly right about the importance of the mana regen. I'm trying to use act 5 Merc but unfortunatly act2 Merc is always better. Thanks for your answer.
