I'm trying to figure out whether I should go Highlords for the +20IAS or whether the Mara's is better for the extra skill. I'm basically at +21 skills for my ice zon. resists ain't great, but dying isn't my problem. I need more DPS. Anyone know how I can calc?

I'm using a Melody in a GMB+3 right now. Freezing Dmg is 3011-3079 and total +IAS is 55%

any suggestions for getting my DPS up?

mavs gloves give + to cold skill damage idk how many pieces you need to get the bonus though. idk about the ammys if i had to guess i would go with ias over the extra skill.

do you use A1 faith merc or A2/A5? faith aura from merc changes ias breakpoints by a lot

I’m still gearing up. Don’t have a huge amount of time to farm so spending fg. I just like to have fun and play new builds. Trying to become hell viable.

I definitely could do with some upgrades for resists in my charms. But again, survivability does not appear to be an issue.

Skills (need to respec)
1 in strate + prereqs (seems pointless?)
20 in CA, FA and 16 so far in IA
Valk at 14 base + 9 skill bump
Pierce at 8 (to get 100% with razor tail)
Everything else as 1 base pretty much

201 dex - i hear with FA you dont need this?
247 vit - where all my pts are going now
112 energy - holdover from early game mana needs pre insight. Maybe can reduce

Under no circumstances should you skill Ice Arrow. The freeze length is a complete waste of skill points. Add cold charms. Cold affix adds duration.

Also, if you want to use peace, don’t skill Valk, skill decoy. You will keep replacing your high level valk with a level 15 one, so buff that one instead. Given your level, and lack of resists I would sacrifice the +skills for a high all res armour. And skill valk to 17 inc adders, and a decent decoy. Learn to use decoy.

For a decent cheap option, use WWS Bow on switch for cold immunes, socket shael, nef also for leaching back mana if required. Note that I only play HC, so all my bowies have KB. Strafe level 5 or so is plenty as a backup.

Pierce level 9 inc adders is your aim, any more is wasted.

Get faster bow, get faster merc weapon and ideally something with CB on him.

Thanks. I’m level 84 and if I’m honest, I dont really know what to do with my skill points. The valk does fine, i barely get hit and don’t die. I am not finding the peace is triggering valk that often. I defo use decoy a lot and slow missiles.

With the cold sunder, immunities aren’t an issue. I have a windforce that i an debating putting on my switch to boost dmg so when i cast the valk it’s properly applying the strength add-on.

I think faster base bow has to be my next move. Everything else is gong fine. I need the insight for mana regen. With the andys+ias jewel and treachery, he hits fast. CB would be nice but prob won’t sacrifice what i have for it. Let me think

I’ll correct myself as i noticed the peace proc’ing a L15 valk v my lvl 24. Defo something to manage but coH is too $$. Are there any other +2 skills armors that are cheaper?
