Hey
Im trying to min-max my Nova sorc. Im selfwielding Infinity (terrible roll) and sitting at -70lr.
Question is:
Do you still run sunder charm with that setup?
How many terror zones have lighting immunes that you cant break?
How exactly is the - ress calculated.

Correct me if im wrong here:
Lets say i have infi and -70cold ress and i fight monster with 110 light ress.
1) with sunder charm monster is droppped to 95, than i lower it by my -70 and additional -17 from infi so monster is at 8 light res
2) without sunder charm monster is dropped by infi to 93, than i lower it by my -70 so monster will end up with 23 light ress
So in this case sunder charm is 19.5% dmg increase (92/77). Thats actually huge.
When you look at it that way, my conclusion would be that you always want to have sunbder in your inventory.

Thoughts?

At 95% ES, your resistance is rather meaningless. Meaning there is no reason to not use Sunder

Yes use sunder. Yes use sunder with infinity. Yes nova sorc self holds infinity.

Sunder makes any previous immuhe monster have 95% resistance.

Then infinity - resistance from conviction is applied, which is -17. Then all your other - enemy lightning resistance is applied.
