thinking of rerolling my es / orb sorc to es / blizz

not sure how i should distribute my attribute points

str - req for gear
dex - none
vit - 150?
energy - dump the rest?

20 pts telekinesis
1 pt es

anything seem wrong or is this viable?

Softcore sure. You can make anything work.

Hardcore. You already have es/orb and aren't dead so what changed with your attribute points?

Switching to blizz/es, es won't be maxed, it'll have 1 point vs 20. since it's not maxed my question is, is it better to dump all into vita, or allocate points for both energy and vita, or dump all into energy

I don't know. This seems like a bad idea.

Your losing a significant part of your defense to switch to blizzard. Why not just go vita and make a standard blizz sorc?

That's also something I'm considering, full vita.

I like es because es is the first thing that reduces damage as you take damage, then the remaining dmg goes through resistances, dr, etc. Even at 1 point, its hard to pass up for survivability

My damage is fine, so I'm not worried about skill points, more so looking for ideal stat distribution

If you did a bunch of math Vita with block and defense would beat it out.

I think you wanna get to at least around 1500 mana with cta bo on the es no block blizz sorc. You may be able to put less points to energy to accomplish this goal as you get better gear and charms. Maybe only put 10-16 to telekenesis if ur not past 4k damaage when pumping 20 to telekenesis. es/blizz gonna feel better than es/orb for you due to killing noticably faster.

Seems like 1500 mana is fine, then you're thinking dump the rest into vit? Pretty much the setup I've been trying out

I've tried a few different setups now. For me personally, the 1 pt in es, 1500 mana has been working great.

I've been thinking about it some more, ideally if I can find a cta staff with es, that'd be perfect. Potentially would be able to have mb, max dr, and es with high dmg output

Close calls I've had:
All from act 3, tz areas with dolls. Mb + max dr > es here but I think in general, im just going to avoid this place

Been able to tank hits from wsk enemies, tz cows, a2 vipers, etc., so far so good
