Noob sin here. If I use a chaos and fury runic talon, will I need additional ias to hit the desired ias BP? (At current patch)

Short answer: yes
Longer answer: depends on rest of gear
Longerer answer: depends on gear and claw type and if you are using burst of speed (for vs nec for example)
Longererer answer: depends on all the above and which claw is in mainhand


I’m assuming you are using 2x runic based on the wording, but hard to say for sure. To reach max trap speed using runic in main hand, you need 42 or more total ias.

If chaos is in mian hand, that means you need 7 more gear ias (except for ias form offhand claw does not count). With fury mainhand you need 2 more ias.
