what toon is best for Mfing
and what items and skills to use ?

java with the usual lightning. NEEDS infinity or sunder charm.

sorc with lightning. NEEDS infinity or sunder charm.

hammerdin. slower than the two, but way more tanky.

barb with frenzy or ww, needs two griefs, pretty fast and can do easily chaos sanctuary just the three minibosses and diablo.

these would be my go-to.

if I would choose one, hammerdin is the easiest because holy shield is so op.

hammerdin has some other op skills.

vigor is sinergy for hammers - you usually max it - it gives 43% running speed (basically a free pair of boots) - absolutely awesome to move fast in town. or anywhere if you don't have enigma.
also gives a ridiculous amount of stamina and stamina regen, never run out of stamina.

putting two hard point in any of the res fire cold or lightning will give you +1% max res for that res.
for example let's say you have 75% res fire on hell.
you put hotspur as boots and now you have 90%.
you put 10 hard point in res fire, now you have 95% res fire on hell.
basically immortal to any fire dmg.
this is not really needed, but one could use this at start of ladder when good items are scarse.

I also like melee pala, zeal + fana usually, sacrifice + fana at bosses.
this is super easy, just needs a (good) grief. the rest can be hoz, hl, loh, shaco?, dual leech ring, ravenfrost, enigma, arach?, wt, etc.
because sacrifice has nice sinergies nowadays, it will melt bosses.

20 fana + prereq.

20 zeal + 20 sacrifice.

20 redemption + 20 vigor + prereq.

20+ sacrifice with sinergies maxed gives over 900% dmg while 20+ fana gives over 400% dmg. with a good grief this is just insane. this is op to pop seals in chaos sanctuary.

similar would be fury wolf with a good 2h melee like a ribcracker upped eth or a good botd or a good tomb reaver or a good infinity or etc.
