Guys, not sure why this is not a bigger thing... Maybe people are set in their ways or love parsing too much.

Blizzard/Orb Hybrid slaps.

Skills:

1 point in: Warmth, Tele, Static
20 Ice bolt
20 Frozen Orb
20 Blizzard
Cold master until it's level 17 with your +skills
Dump the rest into Glacial Spike

Then assign Blizzard to F2 key and Orb as right click and you can spam them both at the same time.

A few months ago they removed the shared cooldown - so in essence you are sacrificing like 10% of your blizzard dmg but you get to replace shitty Ice Blast with a fully specced Frozen Orb.

Noted: i will try it out today just because it sounds fun. I'm only level 83 tho.

You're gonna love it. The only thing to get used to is having to mash your two skills simultaneously - it doesn't work to try weave in two orbs between each blizzard. Better to just mash mash mash.

this is what some people are doing, I presumed everyone knows about the removed shared cd. That said, some prefer some fire to deal with the cold immunes easy.

+1 Huge fan of this. I haven't done the math but I think you're right that casting orb on blizz cooldown adds way more damage than the extra synergy points. Plus its visually ridiculous : )
