So I’m running 75% Es on my sorc and in all the guides I never see them say to use absorb items or DR% items my question is do I need to worry about these items being incorporated into my build or do they not matter?

are you looking on guides that state 95% es? maybe that is the difference. for 95% you don't need those.

Sounds like you’re looking at some bad guides if they running 75% es, minimum is 85 and even that’s trash

in my experience the sorb and dr % do make a difference on 75 % es, because your talking 1/4 damage to your life unlike 95 es where you are takes 1/20 damage to life.

Hi there, i assume this is for pvp?
Personally i would try to get maxblock against physical characters instead of dr%, maxblock works alot better at mitigation.
For abs% getting max res and +max res is more effective as alot of the abs gear are not optimal and reduces our stats by quite abit or caused our total res to drop.

I recently switched from 80es to 75es and for more damage and something would confuse me in some guieds was how much life and mana to have and resistances. Resistances are still important lol especially at 75 and depending on your skillers (mine are lacking) you will need to invest in vit. Bare minimum you need atleast 1k life and 3.5k mana. Remember that life and mana based on char level is not boable just stats like 40mana 50life etc. my guild follows cooley rules so anything over 80es is bm but in pubs even if ur 95es someone can always sorb u anyway so stay gm. I switched from enigma to viper and put a pruby in it to have some wiggle room with gear and it helped me alot. Good luck. Oh 90% of the time ppl socket there ite
