I need some good gems aka advice for my brother.
I’m bringing him in with the new ladder.
We’re planning on duo’ing through.

I plan to go Sorc as the experienced player to tele and whatnot.

What do you guys think I should have my brother start as?
Me personally was thinking foh/zeal. I remember my first character being a zealot when I was like 8 and it was fun.

Also taking any advice to give a new player!

Much appreciated.

Necromancer with lower resist.

Safe playing style.
You can even opt to push static to l10+ for east clearing and CE.
Did this combo with a m8, most easiest combo ive ever tried

Summoner nec with lower resist to compliment your damage and very noob friendly. Just don't pick blizzard sorc as there is no synergy there.

2 sorcs with different element coverage also works well.
Hammerdin for just good all around gameplay.

wind druid - safe and fun to play

hurricane and tornado - two types of damage
summons are fun to cast and actually help
items are cheap and mainly interchangeable with a sorc

hurricane, summons, and oak sage will help your sorc by slowing things down in a wide area, take hits for you, and keep you alive, respectively. Your brother doesn't really have to worry about positioning to hit things, except for nado.

I would say necromancer but wind druid has better end game potential along with being more engaging for a novice
