So I'm running a zerk barb for travi goldfind mostly. Using Grief PB. Got the following skills maxed:

zerk
bo
find item
find potion

Rest of the skills can either go into Howl (+10% dmg for zerk) or sword mastery. The latter has only a couple +% dmg per level but has critical strike.
What will result in the best dmg / kill speed?

i would max synergies for damage first, then put points in find item/potion
seems like it wouldn't affect gold drops too much but might speed up runs

also what level is your barb? if you level up more then you can get close to maxing all of them
the trav monsters are level 85 so i would make sure to at least get higher than that since char level affects your hit chance

Currently 85 so he still needs a good few levels

I guess it's always a consideration between kill speed and find item. You will never max all skills.

... don't think beserk is nesessary the best gold barb idea. Merc does the killing you just buffing him and supplying aura/protection.

I highly recommend it! It's much more fun ask

zerk barb is one of the best pvm chars this game has to offer. it also doesn't lock you out of only farming trav, it's one of the best pit/chaos runners.

there's a reason nobody sticks with their merc-centric gf barbs for more than a week

Barb is only good at 2 things trav gold farming and seal popping, that and being a bo slave in baal runs pvm wise.

Do tell us how a beserk barb is better at farming then a light sorc or hdin? Does he clear cows faster then a zon I forget? No no he is x2 faster then a smiter on those ubers... Oh gosh oh you mean he is mightier then a nec at baal waves? Clearly an assassin with death century clears mobs much slower then beserk barb and you definitely know what you talking about.

The spawns used to be at least funny. This is just sad
