https://maxroll.gg/d2/d2planner/vv01067t

89K DPS Fireball
111K DPS Meteor
471K DPS HYDRAAAAA
Thanks to 78% fire pierce from gear, sunder charm, and infinity merc

At 99 you have exactly enough to max fire ball/bolt/meteor/hydra (+ other basics: tele, warmth, static)

Its also pretty beefy for pvm too!
90% Fire res
80% Light res
Constant redemption aura from phoenix

edit: fixed link

You dont need mf once you have infinity/phoenix/etc lol.
This is an endgame pvm build for pushing to 99 & just generally destroying lots of monsters

I don't understand the calculation for meteor. According to maxroll:

Meteor – Level 37
Damage: 56,543–58,846
Burn Damage: 1400.8–1466.0 per second
Cast Rate: 35 frames (0.71 casts per second)
Damage per Second: 111,119

How is it that 56 k * 0.71 = 111 k???

also, minor nitpick: you actually have 1 skill point to spare, you can max everything and get the utility skills @ 98. Your build has 2 points in static

Aldurs >> rare boots but otherwise it’s about the highest damage you can get

I imagine swapping flickering flame for a 3/20 2 facet circ and sojs nets you more damage

Resistances. Most monsters are at -100% resist

95 sunder
-85 infinity
-78 pierce from gear
= -68 for broken immunes

If I found a good circ during ladder, I'd consider it.
But the max fire res, and resist fire aura are nice for only a vex.
You'll have a lot of fire res to make up without the aura.

He is referring to a magical 3 fire/ 20fcr magic circlet with 2 sockets from Larzuk. Very common.

Which would allow you to use 2 SoJ/BK. Without doing the math, I imagine the 10% fire damage and 2 all skills is better than -5% enemy resist. Would be close tho.

The damage difference is negligible. And it gives up a lot of resists, fire goes from 90 to negative.

You do get more mana from the sojs, but you don't need that much mana with constant redemption aura
