but I would really like a barb expert to take a look at my barb and tell me where I can improve (gearwise)

I tried zerker, but felt like i was close to dying all the time, and it didnt felt optimal.

Now im fury, but I cant seem to get the right setup where I kill the trav efficient and with still some mf.

Plus my merc dies really easily in trav..

My current gear:
Shako Tpazed. (ive tried with non socked guilaume)
random barb amu with 1 barb skill, 30 mf (I have mara, but maybe highlords would be better?)
Grief in MH and eth BOTD in CB offhand, -both swords
Enigma
LoH gloves
Verdungos belt
rare boots with 2x res, mf and 30 FRW
two rings I dont remember. nothing special, both with 2x res and such

Hoto and alibab on switch

Merc:
Tal helm
Eth insight
Fortitude

I will gladly show my gear in game.

What I would like to achive:
Have a barb that clears trav in 1min with good MF so I have a way of earning some currency instead of just spending

Someone mite help you here or troll you it’s 50/50 gl

Gface w/ Cham will help prevent you from getting frozen (kinda important in Trav)
Belt: SoE will help you more
Rings: might need some AR in there

You really should try WW tbh. Your gonna leech a lot more life and almost never die. Especially if you have Ebotd, which had a lot of LL

Your MERC is gonna be tough to keep alive unless you can tele him in and out to all him to heal

I use a tomb reaver and CoT on my MERC and socket reaver with shaels and Amn to help with iAS and LL.

Overall your setup isn’t terrible, but the shako really isn’t doing you any good.
WW is gonna be that most optimal to keep you alive. Just make sure you have your sword mastery maxed out before you max out BO

I am WW atm. but just werent sure if its the "best" if im just looking for some good drops (killspeed vs mf and such, first time trying out barb, normally ive always went to hammerdin after sorc and CS the whole ladder)

Ive just bought a arreats 194/5 instead of the shako. I only used the shako for the MF, but I guess the faster clear speed is better in the long run.

Thought about raven instead of charm in helm for the cannot be frozen, but it has cold dmg, so I cant yell at the corpse afterwards

My merc is just dead meat it seems.

I just leave my merc dead when I'm doing trav runs. He just gets in the way.

Gett that shako out of there and use a cham'd arreats face. Those rare boots are caster gear use gore riders. And yes use highlords wrath.

Get your MF on switch with Isted Ali babas and hork. I use lems in mine because council is a bad place to magic find but an excellent place to find runes, charms and gold. Just focus on killing them quickly. If I kill them 3 times to your one I'll find more good stiff no matter how much magic find you have.

By the walk and dont run at council. your defence always = 0 when you run.

This is true. I make a lot of fg off of selling gold and putting together crafting packs!!

I thought council was the best place to mf xD haha. ups. but then again, its mostly HR im after at this point.

What is NL?

I can resist crafting away all my resources haha but I think that should be my approach next ladder.
