What is the best base weapon for Infinity for Andy + Fortitude Merc?
I see most people put it in a Thresher or Giant Thresher. What about a Mancatcher... it has slightly lower damage but higher attack speed. Isn't that better because the runeword has crushing blow on it?

To summarize: CV and CA are good for the small fellas. GP, T and GT are well-rounded. MC is good for the big fellas. Range on merc is a myth. IAS in helmet is essential.

While Lister the Tormentor is considered a small Fella and only act bosses and Ubers are considered Big Fellas.

that analysis does not account for the fact that your merc's attacks are interrupted at a higher rate when his attack speed is low, which in turn lowers his effective dmg output. keep that in mind
