Looking to improve my build. willing to spend fg. Not sure where to go next. Mainly used for mf, keys, chaos and baal

Not being a orb + fireball sorc is the first thing you should do

Without infinity, go full blizz.

Is my current gear still viable, i do like my current build for the runs I do, I need to socket my helm for starters

respec to full blizzard, use static and a well-geared merc to deal with immunes. your gear is fine, your dmg and mf is good enough and no, your helm not being socked isn't much of an issue.

orb + fb is great early on in the ladder but once you have decent gear and a merc that can output dmg, blizzard will just be better.

if you still want to play orb + fb and just want the best possible build, then here it is:

Thanks for the info. With this build are there any zones that I wouldn't be able to run?

you'll probably be able to run most if not all tzones, but generally at a much slower pace than meta builds like hammer, java, blizz, lightning and nova
