So I have a good GF barb... it's very boring for me to do 20 trav runs back to back to max out my gold and then gamble with a gheeds and bow. I look for circlets but havent found anything actually valuable. I've gambles probably around 10-15 maxed out stashes worth of gold.........

Should I look for circlets or rings or?

What is the easiest to find/sells for the most?

Rings and Amulets I've found never amounted to anything, but Circlets have a wider range of finding things that can sell for even a decent flip. I've found multiple 100-200 fg 2/20 Circlets from gambling spare change, so I can imagine that with a Goldfind Barb you could make decent cash by selling off temps.

The problem with gambling in general is that the range of finding anything remotely useful is pretty narrow outside of Circlets (Coronets and Diadems). You'll likely gamble ten thousand times before you get something worth a fortune, and that's not guaranteed. I prefer craft jewelry over rares most of the time, so even if you land on something good, it's not going to be the best even at its peak roll.

You could try Claws. Trap Claws are the only other thing I can think of that high rolling would land a fortune.

just another perspective - how many diadems/coronets/circlets do you find MFing? and how many of those are any good? I don't want to know the odds of trying to find a 2/20/30/xx or 2/20/2os helm from either MFing or gambling.

RNG and the difficulty of finding good rares/uniques/crafts is insane in this game.

You should speak in hundreds
Also, you need to have a lvl 94 char to gamble the items.

Is there anywhere to find a list of what valuable rolls would be? The 2/20/30/xx and 2/20/2os helm are very helpful so I know what to keep any eye out for. Are there any other ones I should watch for? I know 3os Jewler's Tiara is a good one, too. Wish there was a list...

2/20 is the standard, otherwise everyone would just wear a shako - there are some exceptions but this but I would focus on those 2 affixes foremost

2/20/2os or 2/20/30/2os or even 2/20/visio is the grails you are looking for (again there are some exceptions lol)

2/20 any useful mods/attributes is what you will find occasionally and knowing which ones are viable can be a tough learning curve

concerning clvl when gambling.... 93 is used for amulets and rings because then you can craft with any gamble to get a shot at the affix +2 skills; however, you are gambling coronets I assume, and not circlets.

when gambling:
ilvl = clvl - 5 + rnd(10) ; capped below at 5 and above at 99
where rnd(10) returns a random integer from 0 to 9. Thus, the gambled ilvl ranges from clvl - 5 to clvl - 5 + 9 = clvl + 4

I have never thought about char level when gambling coronets because if you get a diadem I'm almost positive you only have to be level 8 to roll the affix +2skills... to be safe I would be at least be level 71 to get a chance at ilvl 67 coronets BUT this could be wrong if anyone could verify this it would be helpful

i have gambled sojs/wisps a lot and even grabbed a few griffons.

as for claws enable mini shopbot when at a npc to automatically scan for armors / useful staves / trap claws, this is true for d2 / d2r
