I've gotten a lot of "advice" from people that don't actually play zon so I'm getting super confused lol. I'm running a faith gmb/foi gmb setup and I don't want to worry about getting other bows/swaps.

This is my zon as is:


For Dr setup I use:
P gmb faith
ber'd 08 gaze
dungos
160/60/100life archon
war travs
Inventory of 3/20/20s and 3/3/20s

For res/caster setup I use:
P gmb foi
FoC gothic plate
120/45/30frw helm
dungos
Rune slippers
Inventory of 3/20/20s, 3/3/20s, and I mix in 8x 3frw/5all res

For both swaps on javs I use either P upped swordback or P upped mosers. I just recently got the matri javs cause people told me I shouldn't be using stygian pilums. People have told me I should be using Storm Shield, but with 08 gaze and dungos I have 48%dr.

Any advice or clarity that can be provided would be GREATLY appreciated. I'm just learning how to duel but the zon seems like she's pretty solid. Does big damage and seems to tank a few hits before falling over dead.

On the basis that you use GMB and ed ias armor there is nothing wrong with your javs. Some might suggest you not use that armor but I understand what you have done. Do those hybrid bows / armors have additional IAS ? is that why you dont need BB or Nos Belt ? (all the more reason to use them i guess)

alot of players advocate diamond / shadow bow as that enables you to wear a gg rare helmet, or in the absence of hybrid runewords (which may grant additional ias) it means it gives you options for belts (i.e. verdungo). The issue with this option as you probably know is that you then miss IAS on jav slot.

Anyway, the only thing to ask here is how much Dex/Vita you have gone, and I would query does stormshield factor in anywhere (noting i dont see it mentioned or in the screens).

I don't currently run a stormshield because the 08 ber'd gaze offers me 33% damage reduction and then I have a 15%dr dungos on top of it, so I run bow/jav side at 48%dr (in case i get caught off guard before I can weapon swap). I run 118strength to equip the swordback.

Faith of Ice gmb has 20ias on it.

For caster setup I have 105ias (bow side - FoI 20, gloves 20, cats eye 20, 45 on helm) (jav side I have 40ed/15ias in swordback so end up at 100ias)

for dr setup I have 100ias bowside (gloves 20, cats eye 20, 60ias armor) (jav side I have 115ias which I know is an overshoot gloves 20, cats eye 20, 60ias armor, 15ias swordback)


Stats are 118str/232dex for max block with swordback, rest to vit (run around 3150life with bo)

i dont see how you can improve on that.

The only thing I will change is swap out foc for a lighter armour dusk/ap

I grabbed the gothic plate FoC just got looks. I love the golden colour of the graphic on zon specifically <3.

With all the lite res, is your zon specifically set up as a ZvZ? And last question - I always thought with the zon passives (dodge, evade, etc.) that you wanted to avoid fhr at all costs because it glitches with the animations if it's proc'd?

Yeah I set it up for zvz and vs pally too the fhr helps a lot from those annoying smiter that loves to charge lock you
