it actually depends on situation.
Due to summons, and dangerous hammers which pops up at left side and goes upward first, and if enemy northspam as you jump, or if a tornado is going a certain way etc...

But as short as possible, and as consistent as possible. Dno if it has a minimum travel distance on d2r. Somtimes left to right, other times down and up, and sometimes in a triangle... Its a little situation based. Like if vs a smiter u have range advantages at certain angle's etc...

- Blocking/dodging animation wont interupt the casting progress now, which means your enemies can cast tele to tele away at the same time with dodging/blocking your ww. Your enemies won't be dodge/block animation locked anymore
- New fhr mechanic add a immue-fhr time after being fhr also. So after being fhr, enemies can tele away without being fhr locked too.
so tri ww wont work any longer.

What is the best way to WW after a chainlock? Just a simple one south?

just do short ww around your enemy to get best benefits in the number of hits. But you dont need to do a perf tri ww. you can go down, up, left, right anywhere around your enemy, they will tele away without being locked anw even you hit him or not

Wouldnt they be fhr locked once? Not like back in the day, but to some extent

If you can hit your enemy 1 time, they may in fhr animation and you may have enough time to do the 2nd ww hit, but after the fhr animation end, the immue-fhr time will be applied and your enemy will freely tele away and nothing can stop that. So short ww is still good in getting benefits in the number of hits, but using tri ww to lock your enemy doesnt work anymore.

so maybe after chainlocking, a better option would be double WW north south north?
