Hey guys,

I usually play as sorceress, BO barb, smiter, etc, but first time assembling a trap sin in probably 15 years.

I heard that patch 2.4 has changed the way the ias is counted for the trap casting breakpoints: now it only counts the main hand (above gloves, not above boots) for ias purposes? Is that true?

Is there still the trick that it matters which weapon you "put on first" and that you could switch your main hand with lifting the weapon, then putting it back in the slot? Why did people do that?

Do we have an updated table indicating how much ias is needed to hit each breakpoint for the different Weapon Speed Modifier (WSM) of the claws?

For now, I have:
greater talons with 3 traps, 1 Lightning sentry. I didn't socket it yet. Base WSM = -30.
Blade talons with 3 traps, 30 ias, no socket yet. Base WSM = -20, before the ias.

I was considering adding some shael in there. And if I don't need ias, then I could go ist for some mf.

It's for a secondary character, which will probably use fade, not burst of speed, to support baal runs.

I might be able to get some 5 LS claws in softcore ladder, still trying to get those at a reasonable price too, but for now the best I could get at a reasonable price is the above.
