I'm planing to start a fun character on HC mode and i need an advice about what to start with,what character is good for HC excepting assassin wich im not verry experienced in it.I wount spent tons of gold for and still beeing able to survive .

Well.. i'm on euhcl too. This season i made one of each character and they are all now in act 2 hell. Assassin died there, but i leveled it back to about 45 now and am in nm act 5. Spent no fg on anything this season, all done by hand.

There are a few things to watch out for, and a few gear pieces goes a long way .. the common denominator is that if you play like you play softcore, you will die sooner or later. You simply have to have the ability to slow down, play defensively and not rush headlong into things. Knowing when to back out and maybe saving and exiting is a must as well.

i sometimes play in softcore and never die till verry late in hell that means i play well .
will decide later what character to choice and i maybe contact you for some runs . ty

I would play sorc because teleport and not wanting to pay for enigma.

I play mostly solo, and a bit demotivated on d2 at the moment but sure send me a pm if you want then and we'll see.




You can't teleport wildly in hc anyway. It can be used for shortcuts, but only if you are careful and know there are no monster packs on the other side.

Of course unless one play carelessly ... buy fg for money, to buy fully leveled and geared character and just rush and play like an idiot until it dies and say "hc is not for me"...

You can teleport just fine. Your character just needs to be strong enough. Doesn't mean you need to spend FG either.

i like play sorc but is too addicted of the merc at least in hell mode.
The only way to go as sorc in my mind is hybrid cold/fire.
How is the summon necro in hc ?

what ever you go with you need stacked light res and a tgods belt, maybe not on barb, but the rest will need the tgods and stacked light res.

ive exepected that . fire and light resist are mandatory for hc,
Anyway ill go full defensive,Defensive mercenary,gonna use stormshield in most cases,maxblock if posible.
