Have some budget ish gear currently for my barb with a ton of low amd mid runes along with ber and ist runes. Wondering what my best bet is to either farm pits or trav and get some gold/items to gamble.
What specific items should I be looking towards mainly in the weapon slots but everything overall

grief pbs if you're never going to duel. grief zwiehander and ss if you want to duel a little. grief ba and beast if you want to duel a lot.

I want 0 dueling becuase I'm single player ssf
Any ideas on budget since finding a Lo is a bit tough currently

cresent moon in a pb is a good weapon. an oath is good. if you luck out and find a storm lash or azure wrath or shafers. death only take a vex but its slow you would need to pair it with something fast or use a lot of ias gear. if you have the belt boots and gloves the ik maul would be ok.

How are you going to farm pits or travincal with low-mid range gear? Even on sc you'll be toast before 2 seconds has passed because you have -50% all resists and 1200 hit points.

Since you're on d2r you can't do quest bugged boss runs as far as i've understood. Just do boss runs. Diablo or baal, they drop the best gear. In each difficulty to build your gear base slowly.

you can do everything except ubber trist with an IK barb. i beat hell with a duress, string of ears, flamebellow, crescent moon legendary sword, ik boots, gravepalm, rockstopper mandal ring. i don't even think i had a raven frost yet. on my mace barb i didnt have the ik set yet i used a bloody tree stump through act 1 hell. i had ik boots helm and gloves, string, raven cathans ring, nokozans relic, duress, passion and honor scourges. might of found a high damage rare scourge before i finished hell. i lvled in the hole and the pit in act 1 with my sword barb so i disagree, at least the actual pit is easier than the later game.
