Found that 450mf +- worked best for me in terms of drops, but of course its all rng, the loot tables in diablo 2 are full of junk and utter crap that constantly compete with all the good items to be dropped, so it really boils down to your luck.


Hell Andy/Countess/Stony field is basically waste of time.

Run the following:

Pits (act 1)

Ancient Tunnels (Act 2)

Tombs (Act 2)

Travincial (Act 3)

Meph (Act 3)

Chaos Sanctuary+Diablo (Full clear) (Act 4)

Shenk, Pindle, Nithalak, Baal (Act 5)

Cow level


Non-ladder mf is as playable as ladder, pvp items are worth more on nl if anything

If its high runes you want just join games where there are lots of players and go pop chests in Lower Kurast, River of Flame, Maggot Lair, Countess Tower (also don't forget the racks for really good bases there)

and can also go cowing while they are running chaos or baal in act 1 and enjoy better drops in cow level (You will surprised how many bers/jahs can drop in cow level)

Also opening chests behind Mephisto is a good idea, it once dropped 3/20/20 charm for me back in the day
