Is there any guide to help us keep our collections of items perfect of D2 on the forum or if not elsewhere?

I ask this because I see people with items that are over a decade old and would like to learn how to keep my mules in a more practical way.

I am certain that there are ways to cheat .. i mean by downloading the items or whatever.. store them on a file on the computer. It's just a game, it's not rocket science. But i'm completely clueless on that, so i'll just tell you what i do.

You simply make mules and use them often enough so that they lose the 10-day expire restriction. They may still expire after something like 2-3 months, but it's very easy to just log in an refresh them then. Ladder mules will turn to non-ladder mules, so i assume the items you mention are non ladder.

As in naming the mules ... you must make a system that you find easy enough to use. For example, using the first two letters in your name, then an underline, and then the word "Perf" with maybe a large letter i for the number of the mule, is one way to do it. I assume you're not going to have 200 items .. so 5-6 mules should be enough?

So if your first name is Paul, this would be an example: PA_PerfI, PA_PerfII .. Or maybe simply P_PerfI ... and so on, until the length restriction of the character name is reached. Then you must find a new system if you want more mules.

A little bit of creativity goes a long way in the systematics of naming mules. To capitalize on this, and to make sure you're not running into names used by others, you can stretch it to other types of items as well.. example: P_Gems, P_Runes, P_Jewels ... and so on.
