trapsin is ok, can progress by herself.
barb is painful in the level range 35-49, since there are no good melee runewords and not many uniques here. if you are lucky you can get some useful rares, but if you are not, you might lose lots of time in this phase of the game.
summon/CE necro struggles at norm Dia/Baal and Maggot Lair, but does a fairly good job anywhere else. also not gear dependent.
druid is hard to progress and level with self found stuff imo. wind needs quite some skill points to really shine whereas shapers have the same problems as barbs. maybe summoning druid does the job with a respec later on into wind druid?
pala. zealer works PvM if you add some elemental dmg (or even an elemental aura) against immunes. hammerdin loses clear speed without enigma but is still just as deadly, also vigor+charge give high mobility.
Amazon... meh. both bow and java need some specific gear to reach their potential in hell mode, not the first choice for a starting char imo
